Nelly Furtado was on Trl to perform her maneater; she was looking really good in her black Fendi Dress. I really love the new Nelly, I love the fact she has moved away from the hippy dressing on to the high fashion look. The Canadian singer-songwriter revealed to audiences the bumps and bruises she got going from peace-loving folk singer to a full-fledged musical diva in her new video — choreography and all. “Mind you, not being a professional dancer, and kind of doing choreography for the first time, my feet were really swollen. I had to put them in a sink of ice at my hotel, which hurts. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to dance, I could hardly walk. I was in so much pain. It was like dancer initiation rights.”
