Solange Knowles’ has slammed reports she has started dating rapper lil’ Wayne following the alleged collapse of her marriage. Recent internet rumors claimed the singer/actress, 20, had ended her three-year marriage to American football player Daniel smith, father of her two-and-a-half year-old son Daniel Julez. Solange’s marriage to smith caused controversy in February 2004 because she was three months pregnant and 17-years-old at the time.
When discussing her valentine’s day last month (14 Feb 07), Solange fuelled rumors she had split from smith by declaring, “I’ll be with my son. he’s my valentine this year.” when asked if Solange was divorcing smith, her representative tells the New York daily news, “we don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives,” adding rumors linking her to lil’ Wayne were “completely unfounded”.

lol i think solange shouldn’t have got married just because she got pregnant. and i think it was the parents idea, becoz its not like she would struggle to bring the child up. but anyway lil wayne is too gangster for her, she wouldnt keep up…..

yeah she only got married because she was preggers, and they are church people thats why she had to get married. also she was way too young at the time. her baby is such a cutey though.
