Nelly and his boo Ashanti really need to step their game up. These two tracks that have recently been made available are so disappointing. Maybe I could get to like switch, but its still not a great single, hopefully switch is something to get all the Ashanti fans ready for something real hot as her first single. I am not even going to comment on Nellyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s track as I know he can do a lot better.

In other Ashanti news she stated “The Declaration,” represents her sense of freedom at this stage in her career. “I’m steering my own ship and taking the lead on everything. You can definitely hear the growth; I’m working with producers I’ve never worked with before.” Those producers include Polow Da Don and Babyface. The new album is due in October.

T.I. discusses his relationship with the mother of his kids, Tameka Tiny Cottle, in the August issue of Vibe. The Atlanta rapper confirmed that in May that he and Cottle had broken up, but the couple have since gotten back together and, as T.I. put it in the Vibe interview, “she means to me what my mother meant to me as a kid.” He added, “Somebody that you know is consistently there, has your best interests at heart, and if ain’t nobody else there in the world, she gon’ be there. New Bone Thugà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s and Harmony video Featuring Mariah, Bow wow and Jermaine Dupri. The single was out on the web ages ago so its about damn time they release the video. The track is on Bone Thugs album Strength and Loyalty which is currently in stores.

Rihanna was in attendance at Jermaine Dupri party in Los Angeles on Tuesday. I love that dress she is wearing; she keeps getting better every year with her style.

After publishing that usher and Tameka were expecting a baby a couple months ago and these rumors were shot down by usher and his people. Any how Usher and Tameka Foster have now announced that they’re expecting their first child together, due in the fall.

“We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together,” the couple said in a statement released to the Associated Press Wednesday. “We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives.” source

B2k is back! No am just kidding, they are all in the video though. This is lil Fizz first solo release from his album Payday. Am not bad about the rapping, ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s kind of boring to be honest. The video remains me of Jay-z big pippin, so they could have done a much better job on coming up with an original concept. I have no comments about Ray-j vocals.

Ti is featured on the covers of the August issue of Vibe Magazine, and damn he is really looking so fine in these pictures he even look a little buff to me move over 50 cent TI is in the building.

Omarion and his sidekick partner Bow wow were in attendance at the bet awards. I love the suit that Omarion is wearing but damn bow wow seems as if he couldn’t be bothered to make the effort. (more…)

Beyonce fresh off her St Tropez vacation was looking like a fried robot as she performed, Get Me Bodied. It was a good performance overall from B I guess she was re-energized from here holiday. Love the ending with the destinyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s child plus Solange booty popping at the end.

Kelly Rowland also got her lil shine at the award show she performed, like this with Eve; it was an ok performance that only picked up at the end. It would have been good if she went on before Beyonce.
