Singer Trey Songz was arrested late Saturday night following one of his shows in Springfield. Songz, (born Tremaine Neverson) was charged with behaving as a disorderly person and resisting arrest. A measily $500 bond was required for his release Sunday morning.
“Our disorderly person charge can involve several different things including the use of certain language, failure to do what an officer asks,†Slepchuck told AllHipHop.com. “[Neverson] was interfering with an active crime scene involving a victim.â€
The crime Songz allegedly interfered with was a shooting in the parking lot of the venue he performed in that night. The alleged shooter, 29-year-old Anthony Williams is being held in custody facing a ton of charges. It is unclear of Trey Songz has any connection or relationship to anyone involved in the incident.
