Ciara has sink to a all time low! to get attention on her Forthcoming third album, Fantasy Ride. The goodies singer has shown all her goodies to the public(well not quite but almost, thank god for censorship).Damn i use to like Ciara but this little publicity stunt has change my opinion of her.

I am really not sure why she did this. I am a bit disappointed in her. But other R&B singers/actress/models do this all the time. ALOT of people on other are calling her a “hoe” or “slut”. Heck people like Kim K, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lisney L. do things like this for FREE. And no one calls them “hoes”/”sluts”/”distasteful” atleast THAT much. A “hoe” or “slut” is someone that is promiscuos.
But I do think it could have been better. VIBE does this alot. They put out “not so good†or “the best†pictures of people.
I do agree with you that my opinion of her is changing and this picture is part of the reason why. I think she is going to have to sing with a GOLDEN mic or preform with magical shoes or something to get respect back from some people. Even some of her “haters” respected her, now … -

Sorry Carla but everyone call Britney, Kim, Paris and Linsey Hoes, she is taking a new direction which i personally think is a big mistake. who does she think by her albums? young girls! do they want to see her naked ass? Hell no. if you walk, talk and act like a hoe people will call you a hoe.

@Peaches: I get what your saying, but I’ve seen WORSE!!! Yep, she is making a HUGE mistake though, b/c unless your sure of everything taking “risks”, as some others have said, can damage a career. I disagree about the “hoe” thing. A “hoe” is promiscous person. People like to call females “hoes” for things that they would never even think to talk badly of a male for. I think Cici signed a modeling contract so she’s a model now. I hope to see MUCH better from her though. She had MUCH better magazine covers before. And I do agree with you about the “young girl” thing. I was disappointed. I think if she was going to do it she should have done this better and in a much more classy and presentable way. If I was going to do it I wouldn’t have went with VIBE. VIBE doesn’t actually have the best repretation ethier.

Oh yeah. Madonna, Janet Jackson, Keyshia, Christina Aguilera all did. But I think the pictures looked better, b/c they had a beautiful background. I think the way the picture looks has more to do with VIBE than Ciara. Tons of people ALWAYS complains that VIBE misrepresented them or used bad pics on purpose. If it were me (trust me I would never do this) I would NEVER have posed with VIBE.

Carla she has the final say on how they portray her in a magazine, fair enough just showing flesh shouldn’t classify you as a hoe, but its pretty low of her to strip to gain attention.As a matter of fact for every album she has released she has done something to try and gain attention in the wrong way. first she was going out with bow wow when the first album release, next she was going out with 50 cent, well at least she denied that one, Now she is showing the world her crack to get people talking about her and her album. Fair enough she is getting the result she wanted as, i am sure most people didn’t have a clue that she has a new album, but still will stripping make people jump out of there seats and rush to buy the album?

I agree with you that this was a VERY low thing to do. But her first album came out in Nov. of 2004 and she admitted dating Bow Wow in June 2005. They had already been dating for over a year when Bow wanted to announce their relationship for HIS benefit. They both said she wanted to cover up the relationship and he wanted to go public and get people talking about his album “Wanted” and see him more as a grown-man with a girlfriend than a teeny-bopper. She already had sold 5 million+ or 6 million albums of “Goodies” worldwide by then. And she dated 50 since Dec. 2006 and never came out publicly together until the summer of last year. I do admit that was a HUGE publicity stunt for BOTH of them, but esp. him.
I do admit though I HATE that she did this. She shouldn’t have done this. But I still don’t like people’s responses. Other artists do the same thing all the time. It’s all in how it looks in the end that matters. And VIBE did a crappy job as usual. Still she shouldn’t have done this b/c I and some other fans lost some of the respect we had for her. -

Long story short, Ciara shouldn’t have done this. Publicity stunt or not she should have thought about the impression she would make on many of her fans especialy those of a young age. The only people that would be attracted to this are boys and u aint gonna hear a guy say ”dude I totally can’t wait for Ciaras album to come out!” Having respect for yourself is more important than selling records.

You cant blame vibe Carla, Ciara had a lot to say about what picture of her should be published, if she thought them unacceptable then i am sure she could have done something about it. If Rihanna did the same damn thing i would have said the same thing. if you notice i am not a big fan of kim, britney or any of the other Publicity Hoe. Thanks for clearing up the details regarding the date when bow wow and ciara started dating.

@Peaches: Your welcome. I you your not a hyprocrite. Alot of other bloggers like SR are though. I was singling out VIBE b/c ALMOST every artist complains about the way their pictures turned out or their words being misrepresented. I hope Ciara sticks to modeling and acting in the future to tell the truth b/c that’s where the money is at and the respect (acting) is. I would kill (not literally) to be an actress. Acting is so cool. I heard she always wanted to be a model, even before she got signed at 14, so I hope this works out for her.

@LMAO @ Zainy: I know a few insiders due to my distant cousin. I hear you. I do agree with you. She is underestimating and downing herself. But what I’m saying is that people expect Ciara and girls like her to be perfect. Yes they are celebs, but they are HUMAN. I blog alot and people are seriously acting like these people are made of gold. Lol. They are human and ALL humans make mistakes they end up regreting. I KNOW she will with this. If the bloggers don’t make her regret it her fans and family will.

Lol SR is like that, most of these artist don’t make much money selling just CD’s so they have to be very versatile, making movies and modeling is a normal progression for musician.
