The Condé Nast Fashion Rocks 2008 event took place in New York City on Friday September 5. Everyone from beyonce, Miley Cyrus,Chris Brown and Rihanna to Paula Abdul attended the event. The theme of the night was high fashion infused with a touch of rock and roll.
Rihanna wore an elegant black gown with a jeweled belt . Beyonce wore a simple black dress but paired it with an 18 carat flawless diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz( that the allegedly engagement ring). now to the fashion mishaps, lil mama as usual in some wacky attire inspired by the mad hatter T-pain won the award for the worst dress.
Rihanna, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Keyshia Cole, Ciara and Mary J Blige were just some of the stars to perform at Fashion Rocks.

Almost all of them look great. I don’t want to say anything mean about someone’s (Solange’s) outfit so I’ll shut my mouth … Lol.

lol you are being nice carla but i am not in the mood to be nice right now. Solange outfit isn’t the wises outfit to choose for such a event, i cant believe i let that one slip. Also tyra banks looks like Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians with that hair do.

Solanges outfit makes me want to be physically sick and Tyra jus looks so fake especially with that rediculously looking wig on her head. Lil mama wouldda looked ok if she got rid of the hat and jacket, how come dis girl odnt like to show skin?
And sadly I have to say i’m not feeling that jacket that Chris Breezy’s wearin…for a fashion event this really isn’t a good turnout for the black peeps.

LOL Zainy the theme for the event was rock and roll, so you had to wear a rock on roll type outfit. i guess some people didnt get the memo, regarding there outfit theme. but yeah loose the top hat and jacket and lil mama would look a lot better.
