Singer Beyonce and rapper ludacris attended Gotham Magazine’s annual gala on November 18, 2008 in New York City.

Beyonce has revealed she worked so hard when she was younger that she thought she would have a nervous breakdown.

“Years ago, I was definitely headed for a breakdown,” she revealed in the November issue of Gotham magazine.

“Just way too much work - my life was my career and I had no other life. It started when I was 15 and I hadn’t learned the importance of balance, making sure I took a day off.”
