Singer Mariah Carey arrives at the Nice airport for the Cannes Film Festival to promote her movie for Precious.
The movie focuses on HIV-positive pregnant teen Claireece “Precious” Jones and is set in 1987 New York and is based on the novel Push.
In the film, Mariah plays a Harlem social worker by the name of Mrs. Weiss who works with Precious, played by actress Gabby Sidibe.
Mimi had to gain weight for the role, as well as don a dark wig and an array of dowdy outfits that cleverly concealed her famous curves. Look at her, getting her Monster on. Someone means business with this role.

mmm dont know if mc the diva would be beliveable in that role, but remains too be seen, from the trailer the flim looks wack, but you can never tell.
