The Nas-Kelis Divorce Battle is about to get grrimey.
We hear the iconic MC is urging a California divorce judge to deny estranged wife Kelis’ request for spousal support as the former couple prepare for the birth of a first child.
The “Milkshake” hitmaker — who is seven months pregnant with the couple’s first son — rocked the hip-hop world filed papers on 30 April (09), citing “irreconcilable differences” after almost six years of marriage.
Nas has responded to the divorce documents by asking a judge to reject Kelis’ bids for spousal and legal costs, according to TMZ.com.
Kelis is due to give birth to a baby boy in July. Both stars are seeking joint legal and physical custody of the unborn child.
