Singer Janet Jackson made her first public appearance since the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, at the 9th Annual BET Awards on Sunday.
A obviously devastated Janet was brought on stage by host Jamie Foxx. She spoke briefly.“My entire family wanted to be here tonight, but it was just too painful, so they elected me to speak with all of you and I’m going to keep it very short. To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family and he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love. Thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”

When she came out on stage, I thought she was LeToya but when i saw it was her and i saw the pic of her and Michael in the background I began to cry. And when Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo sang “I’ll be there” I couldn’t stop cryin. It was so sad and moving. R.I.P Michael Jackson you will forever be missed and you are forever in our hearts. You touched many lives and for it I say thanks.
