The 2009 MOBO Awards which was held on September 30 at the SECC in Glasgow has been wrapped, and those walking home with trophies were revealed. Beyonce Knowles, N-Dubz and JLS were the ones who dominated the event, grabbing two prizes each.

Beyonce won over Akon, Ciara, Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Lady GaGa and Mariah Carey in Best International Act. She got her other award in Best Video category, pushing aside Dizzee Rascal, Alesha Dixon, Chipmunk and Mr. Hudson.

Unfortunately, Beyonce was not present at the ceremony and offered her acceptance speech on a video message. She reportedly was booed by the crowd when apologizing for failing to attend the show.
