Ne-Yo celebrated his 30th Birthday with a huge bash at Cipriani’s New York a few weeks ago with celebrity guests that included Gossip Diva Wendy Williams, Mary J. Blige, Teyana Taylor, Adrienne Bailon, Ryan Leslie, Anika Rose, Raven Symone and Ice T and Coco. The event was a classy affair even with the addition of scantily clad models dressed in nothing but paint and pasties. (No complaints from Ne-Yo!). Mary J. Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, and T.I. lead the nominations for the BET Awards 2009. Beyonc and lil wayne both receive five nomination each. They followed by Keri Hilson and T-Pain with four each while Rihanna, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, and Jazmine Sullivan each receive three nominations. Actor/Singer Jamie fox will be hosting this years awards show, with entertainment coming from the usual suspects Beyoncé, and Ne-Yo. The event will be aired live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EST/PST. I have a feeling this will be another weak award show, i wish it could be another amazing show but, look at the best female rapper category there is  only three nominations,  i would just give it to MIA she is the only one who has a recent hit collaboration. I know a lot of you guys aren’t really feeling my boy Ryan, but Dude is mad talented, he makes his own beats, write his own shit, plus he isn’t a bad singer at all. He might not bring the showmanship that you would get from your Usher or Chris brown but he still keeps fly in a geeky way.
