On Friday, Grammy Award-winning rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11 months in jail for violating the terms of his probation after he was arrested in September on suspicion of possessing ecstasy.
“I screwed up. I screwed up big time and I am sorry,” the 30-year-old father of five, told US District Judge Charles Pannell, who also ordered him to serve a year of supervised release. Friday’s hearing stemmed from a Sept. 1 collar in Los Angeles, during which the “Whatever You Like” hitmaker — whose real name is Clifford Harris — and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle where arrested when cops found drugs in the couple’s car. Rapper T.I 29-year-old superstar real name Clifford Harris Jr tied the knot with his longtime 35-year-old girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle at a Miami Beach court. The two have reportedly been dating since 2001 and have two young sons King and Major Harris. They repeated their vows in an elaborate ceremony in three cities.
The couple wed Saturday in front of close family and friends (including Tiny’s BET costar Antonia “Toya” Carter) on a small private island off the coast of Miami Saturday. (more…)

Rapper Ti has left jail after 7 months of incarnation, his solicitor confirmed. The Rapper/actor, whose true name is Clifford Harris Jr, will serve what’s left of a reduced sentence in a correctional center near Fulton County airfield in Atlanta, Georgia. Harris was sentenced to a year and a day in March 2009 caused by weapons charges related to buying machine guns and silencers. Officers charged him with providing a bodyguard with $12,000 to buy weapons. (more…)
