2009 BET Hip Hop Awards

TI best Hip-Hop Collaboration for his duet with Rihanna in single “Live Your Life” and was honored with Album of the Year for his latest studio installment “Paper Trail”.

Since T.I. was absent, his fiancee Tameka Cottle came onto the stage to accept the two trophies on his behalf. TI & Mary J Blige “Remember Me”

TI held Final Countdown Concert at Philips Arena on May 24, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. The event saw lots of rappers, basketball players, and actors turned up at the event including Andre 3000, Soulja boy, all Ti’s Grand Hustle artist Excluding Dro, who had a family emergency(allegedly another sister of his dies). Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, and T.I. lead the nominations for the BET Awards 2009. Beyonc and lil wayne both receive five nomination each. They followed by Keri Hilson and T-Pain with four each while Rihanna, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, and Jazmine Sullivan each receive three nominations. Actor/Singer Jamie fox will be hosting this years awards show, with entertainment coming from the usual suspects Beyoncé, and Ne-Yo. The event will be aired live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EST/PST. I have a feeling this will be another weak award show, i wish it could be another amazing show but, look at the best female rapper category there is  only three nominations,  i would just give it to MIA she is the only one who has a recent hit collaboration. The Cavaliers vs the Hawks NBA game was filled with celebrities from Young Jeezy, T.I., Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, and Monica were all courtside at Game 4 of the NBA playoffs between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta on Saturday.singer Keyshia Cole also sang the National Anthem.
