Trouble-prone hip-hopster T.I. is being hailed a hero after he helped save a suicidal man from tossing himself off a 22-store building in Downtown Atlanta Wednesday.

Newly Wed hip hop royality T.I and Tiny Was arrested booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:18PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana.
When searching the vehicle cops found a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources tell us the controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy.We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.
UPDATE: T.I. and Tameka were released around 4:00AM.
Its a damn shame, you would have thought T.I would be a little bit more careful seeing that his ass just got out of spending a year in jail, when will he ever learn!
TI and Tiny was on the red carpet over the weekend at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. in a brief interview with MTV Ti had this to say
This is actually the first awards show that I’ve had the pleasure of attending since my brief hiatus,” T.I. said. “So it’s nostalgic in a sense. The last year when these awards were on, I was watching it from a much different position.”

Another Ti interview, where is asked about buy guns as a felon, as well as his relationship with long time girlfriend and mother of two of his kids Tiny, he didn’t really say much as expected regarding his relationship. Rapper T.I. isn’t feeling the recession at all , the rapper recently bought girlfriend Tiny a new 2010 Porsche, and now this video of his new 400k 2010 57s Maybach was release. The rapper seems to be on a huge spending spree since his release from his stint in prison.
T.I. made his first public appearance since prison, stepping out with fiancée Tameka “Tiny” Cottle in support of her Alzheimer’s research fundraiser. “I am very well, very happy to be seen,” said T.I., who joined Cottle onstage at the end of the benefit. MTV News had the chance to chat it up with Grand Hustle partner Jason Geter to see when T.I.’s post-prison album is set to be release this summer along with his movie “Takers,” a film about a bank heist interrupted by a detective, stars Zoe Saldana, T.I., Chris Brown and Hayden Christensen and hits theaters August 20.

Since T.I. was absent, his fiancee Tameka Cottle came onto the stage to accept the two trophies on his behalf.
