According to the new issue of In Touch, Usher had no idea that wife Tameka Foster had gone down to Brazil to get a little nip and tuck.

So imagine his surprise when, as he was departing for a rehearsal for Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, he got the call telling him that his wife had gone into cardiac arrest while going under for lipo.

A neurosurgeon, Dr. Gabriel Hunt of LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, is on the way to South America.A rep for Usher had no comment at this time. According to People Usher and his wife Tameka have a new addition to the family: a baby boy born on Wednesday.
